Founded in 1994 to service the litigation needs of the Calgary legal and business communities, a significant part of the work we do originates from other law firms who either have a conflict in acting on a particular matter or who need local litigation support for their clients. We also act directly for various clients who are seeking professional and effective legal representation.

Our firm is comprised of a dedicated team of lawyers who provide litigation advice and associated services to individuals, corporations and institutions around the world.

The founding members of the firm are: J. Patrick Peacock, Q.C., Peter T. Linder, Q.C., Edward W. Halt, Q.C., and Virginia A. Engel, Q.C., each of whom has been the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions. Janet McCready, Emi Bossio, Johanna Price, Mylène Tiessen and Gavin Matthews round out the partnership representing clients in a variety of complex and precedent-setting cases before the Alberta Courts and Regulatory Tribunals.
