The firm’s senior partner and managing partner is J. Patrick Peacock, Q.C. He has been a member of the Alberta bar for over 40 years and is a past-President of the Canadian Bar Association and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Peter T. Linder has over 20 years of experience in representing clients in complex commercial litigation, securities, construction and international and domestic oil and gas disputes. He articled to the Alberta Court of Appeal and has a Masters degree in Jurisprudence from Oxford University. Edward W. Halt clerked to the Supreme Court of Canada, graduated first in his class at the U. of S. and is a member of both the Saskatchewan and Alberta bars. Virginia A. Engel, Q.C. is President of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association and a Past President of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, a former President of the Alberta Association of Women Lawyers and is an active member of the bars of Alberta and B.C. Janet McCready, Emi Bossio, Johanna Price and Mylène Tiessen round out the partnership representing clients in a variety of complex and precedent-setting cases before the Alberta Courts and Regulatory Tribunals. Their strong legal skills and analytical abilities provide the firm with the depth required to ensure effective representation of its clients. The partners are supported by a team of dedicated and well-qualified associates and support staff.
